i finished knitting this last night. i love the pastel color wisps in the yarn & i'm fairly excited to give the skeins of this yarn in purple the same treatment. for the life of me, i can't recall where i got this yarn but it's been in my yarn stash for a while. i'm glad i've got around to using it.

after a rifle through my yarn stash, i came upon a bulky alpaca blend that's been begging to be used for too long. so, out came the circular needles, i poured a glass of chardonnay and set to work. this is it's current progress and it looks even better knit than it does in skein.

Yarn Love... Part Deux

Well, here's more perfect yarn from Irish Meadows. I'm using it to make another custom Samantha Infinity Scarf & it's a true joy. Scrummy, yummy & sumptuous aren't enough to describe how soft this feels. I'm loving working with this. Srsly. I'll be sure to post pics of the finished Samantha when complete. This color is called Maroon.

Yes, that's exactly how I feel about Carly. It's all retro and fun. When I picked up the yarn, it didn't dawn on me that it'd work up this way or that the color scheme gave off that vibe. After it was finished & I looked at it, it was so clear.
